Green Globe Artichoke (Cynara cardunculus var. scolymus)

The classic artichoke we all know and love! Released in the early 19th century, the adaptable Green Globe grows up to 5 feet tall and produces large, bulbous heads with violet-shaded green bracts.

• 50 seeds minimum
• Germination: 35-45 days
• Maturity: 120-365 days
• Start indoors 6-8 weeks prior to last frost. Plant seeds deep in seed starting mix. Transplant in full sun after frost danger has passed. Compost well.
• Space plants 36 apart.
