The Spear & Jackson 4865RB Artificial Grass/Astroturf Rake Brush is a compact, purpose-built tool designed for precise cleaning along edges, around pots, and into tight corners. It shines on astro turf, helping gather fine debris with deliberate, controlled sweeping. The curved bristles bite into the surface, guiding dust and loose blades toward the center so you can lift and collect more in fewer passes.
Built with user comfort in mind, the rake uses a telescopic extending handle that you can adjust to suit your height or the task at hand. When not in use, the whole unit retracts to a compact size, making storage in sheds, garages, or tool racks straightforward and space-saving.
The red twist and lock mechanism on the handle allows you to extend or shorten the reach mid task without tools. The curved bristles improve contact with irregular surfaces, reducing the need for multiple passes. The lightweight construction supports comfortable use over longer sessions.
Use this rake along garden edges, around raised beds, and near planters where debris tends to accumulate. It is well suited to refreshing astro turf sections after outdoor events or routine tidying. The compact storage makes it convenient for small sheds or busy utility spaces.
After sweeping, knock off loose material and wipe the bristles clean. If needed, rinse with water and dry to preserve the red locking mechanism and prevent rust on metal components.
