Leucothoe axillaris ‘Curly Red’

Finally, after YEARS of pleading from our customers, we finally have some of these to sell! Cuter-than-cute evergreen shrub, slow growing to an 18-24 mound packed with curling, twisty foliage that glows red in the cooler months. A textural treat for morning sun to moderate shade, moist well drained, acidic soils (Heather relative); fits right into a dwarf conifer theme, woodland or as a featured specimen in a pot where it can adored by all! Rare & choice.
