Deutzia gracilis

Found this in a old garden in Washingtonit was a big shrub and covered with blooms. The cuttings we planted in our garden are 4-6′ high and wide and create some ‘white wedding drama’ when they bloom in May June (nice for the vase!). Pretty arching form makes it a natural fit between substantial evergreen shrubs in the garden. Outstanding deciduous shrub (red to apricot fall color) for a lightly shaded spot in good soil with regular water.
