Polypodium guttatum

(MEXICAN POLYPODY) When I first encountered this fern, I thought it was plastic! The fronds are perfection…thick, evergreen, deeply incised fronds, with a bit of a blue sheen on the green. 8-12 tall and slowly expanding into a tight thicket resembling a little crowd of Sago Palms! Light to medium shade, well drained soil, moderate water (takes some dry). A gem of a fern!
