Dramatic purple-black, ferny foliage creates clumps 2 high and 3 wide; fragrant, white bottlebrush blooms from mauve buds open in late summer to early fall are on stems 4′-5 tall (spikes-nose-height). Very at home in a woodland setting, morning sun or part-shade in moist, humus rich soil with good drainage. Stunning in a grouping! Easy care, very low maintenance and long lived.
