Acorus calamus ‘Variegatus’

(VARIEGATED SWEET FLAG) Named for its sweetly fragrant leaves and rhizomes, this baby is happiest with wet feet (goes to 9 deep aquatic), but will grow in ordinary garden conditions as long as it doesnt dry out. The grassy Iris like foliage is about 2 tall on slowly creeping rhizomes (the rhizomes are cool looking and tend to stay on the surface). Also great in a pot in a saucer of water Just a nice foliage accent plant!
