Albino Beet (Beta vulgaris)

This sugary-sweet beet with white roots is comes from the Netherlands. Albino has bright skin and flesh and a firm, crisp texture delicious raw, steamed, roasted, and pickled. Albino beet greens are nutrient dense and flavorful. Prolific, easy to grow, and stores well. One of our favorites!

• 150 seeds minimum
• Germination: 5-10 days
• Maturity: 55-60 days
• Direct sow deep in full sun as soon as soil can be worked.
• Sow 12-15 seeds per foot; thin to 3″ apart when seedlings are 1-2″ tall. Plant rows 12″ apart.
• Plant again in late summer for a fall harvest.
