Aristolochia fimbriata

This hardy Dutchmans Pipe is at its best cascading over a wall or spilling from a container where it lax 2 stems can show off those weird, 1 alien flowers – curving, brown veined with long hairs on the edges all summer! It will also make a small patch of deciduous ground cover (evergreen to about 25 degrees). Rounded leaves have pretty silver veining. Best in part shade, well-drained soil with regular water. Swallowtail food plant. Grow as an annual in colder zones.
