Troll sized astilbe with glossy, bronzed green, deeply divided ferny foliage, 3-4 tall and clumping to 12-18 wide. Short sprays of pinkish white flowers late summer stand well above the foliage. Will take sun on a wet, boggy site, needs part shade with less water. Prefers moist, fertile, compost enriched soil.
