Astilboides tabularis

HUGE magnificent round leaves to 3 across with ruffled edges and prominent veins on 3 petioles; small astilbe like panicles of creamy white flowers on 5 stems in late spring. Needs consistently moist to wet soil in part shade, dislikes dry, heat and sun. Perfect architectural focal point for the waterside or boggy woodland! This baby is a wowser and if happy can spread into a substantial clump go baby!
