Curly Dock (Rumex crispus)

A multipurpose super herb! Curly Docks taproot is used in a wide range of medicinal applications; its color rich seeds make a beautiful rosy-brown natural dye; and its mature leaves can be sauted or enjoyed in salads. (Caution: very young leaves can numb tongue.) Plants reach 4-5 tall at maturity.

• 150 minimum seeds
• Germination: 7-15 days
• For optimal performance, refrigerate seeds in moist sand for 4 weeks then direct sow 1/8 deep in full sun after last frost. Plant in loose, well-drained soil.
• Space plants 24-36 apart.
