Endive di Ruffec (Cichorium endivia)

Named for a town in southwestern France, this frisee-type endive adds pizazz to salad mixes. A highly prolific heirloom, Endive di Ruffec produces large heads with heavily frilled green leaves and yellow hearts.

• 250 seeds minimum
• Germination: 7-14 days
• Maturity: 80-85 days
• Direct sow 1/2″ deep in full sun/partial shade as soon as soil can be worked and again in late summer for a fall harvest.
