Fallopia japonica ‘Freckles’

(FRECKLES MEXICAN BAMBOO) Not a bamboobut these perennial 4-6 tall clumps of segmented arching stems do resemble itdramatic mostly cream leaves on red stems are spotted with green. White frothy flowers in fall add to the appeal of this bold mama! Try a part shade corner or a dark wall as a background. Let there be light! Easy, well behaved, sterile cultivar (no seeds)no running either. Decent soil, some water.
