Ficus Lyrata Bambino in Pot 12cm

Watering
Water when the top 35 cm of soil feels dry. In Maltas warm months, this may be weekly; reduce watering in winter to avoid root rot.

Light
Prefers bright, indirect light and tolerates gentle morning sun. Protect from strong midday Maltese sun, especially in summer.

Foliage / Growth
Compact growth with thick, violin-shaped leaves. Slower growing than standard Ficus lyrata, making it ideal for indoor spaces.

Potting Mix
Use a well-draining mix with peat or coco coir, perlite, and bark. Good drainage is essential in warm, humid conditions.

Fertilizer
Feed monthly in spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertilizer. Pause feeding during winter.

Pet Safety
Toxic to pets if ingested. Keep out of reach of cats and dogs.

Air Purifying
Helps improve indoor air quality by filtering common airborne pollutants.
