Fresno Chili Pepper (Capsicum annuum)

Much like the jalapeo pepper but hotter (3,000-10,000 SHU). This New Mexican-style chili has a distinctive fruity flavor, thin walls, and a pointy, upward-growing tip. Peppers evolve from green to red as they mature. Plants reach 24-30 tall.

Germination: 7-10 days
Maturity: 75-80 days
Start indoors 8-12 weeks before the last frost. Plant 1/4″ deep in seed starting mix. Requires soil temperatures of 65-90F to germinate. Heat mat is recommended. Keep soil moist.
Transplant in full sun when all danger of frost has passed. Bottom leaves should be just above ground level.
Space plants 12-18 apart; space rows 2-4′ apart.
