Lactuca sativa

The Green Romaine-Type lettuce variety showcases exceptional leaf texture that elevates any salad experience. With its rich green colour and classic Romaine flavour, it remains a favourite among both growers and consumers. Ideal for indoor gardening, this lettuce is beautifully suited for consistent growth, providing a reliable harvest.

Size: Mature plants grow to about 12 to 18 in. tall with dense, upright foliage.

Yield: Each plant produces multiple leaves to be harvested over several cuttings throughout the growing season.

Taste: Crisp leaves with a refreshing, mild Romaine flavour, ideal for salads and garnishes.

How to use: Enjoy fresh in salads, sandwiches, or as garnishes, enhancing the quality of any meal.

Planting tips: Pelleted seed makes for easy planting; sow 1 pelleted seed per Mini Block. Transplant seedlings when they reach the 3 to 4 leaf stage into larger Grow Blocks. Maintain consistent moisture and cooler temperatures prior to planting for optimal germination.

Harvest tips: Begin harvesting when the leaves are large enough to use; pick outer leaves regularly to encourage new growth and a continuous supply of fresh lettuce.
