This perennial Impatiens from Sichuan sounds like a bad cold with a sneeze, but the pretty lush green foliage on upright stems to 2 form a nice colony about 3 wide in humus rich, moist soils in a shaded part of the garden. Exotic looking pink flowers are showy late summer to fall. Seems like there should be a parrot nearby! Uncommon and choice.
