Macleaya cordata

Bold blue-silver leaves in expanding clumps form a good size patch if unhindered; tall summer stems 5-6 tall are topped by clouds of coral-bronze plumes that wave in the breeze and are great for cutting. Sun to part shade in the large border. Most soils with regular moisture. Impressive perennial from many aspects!
