Organic Green Nutmeg Melon (Cucumis melo)

One of the oldest heirloom melons grown in America, the Green Nutmeg melon was first introduced in the early 1800s. This muskmelon has rough, netted skin, bright green flesh, and a sweet and subtle nutmeg flavor.

• 25 seeds minimum
• Germination: 7-14 days
• Maturity: 80-85 days
• Direct sow deep in full sun after last frost or start indoors 3-4 weeks prior to last frost. Harden off seedlings before planting.
• Plant in hills of 6-8 seeds; thin to 3-4 plants. Hills should be 6 apart in all directions, or plant in rows and thin to 8-12 between plants in rows 6-8 apart.
