Ourisia coccinea

Exquisite rare perennial from the Andes in Chilesmall, toothed, bright green leaves form a rhizomatous mat in cool, moist, partly shaded places. From May to September, 6-9″ stems arise topped with nodding scarlet tubular flowers! Seems to prefer well drained, humus enriched soil and acidic, peaty soil with regular moisture. SWEET!
