A productive and reliable sweet pepper, Northstar performs beautifully from early summer right through to fall.

Size: Mature plants typically reach 18 to 24 in. in height. Peppers are large, about 4 to 6 in. long.

How to use: Excellent for fresh applications, cooking, or grilling. Great for stuffing with your favourite mixtures.

Planting tips: Start seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost. Cover seeds with 1/4 in. of soil and keep moist; germination occurs in 10 to 14 days at soil temperatures of 22C. Maintain 14 to 16 hours of light daily once sprouted. Transplant to the garden after night temperatures are suitably warm.
