Physocarpus opulifolius ‘Center Glow’ PP16894.

The result of a cross between P. Diablo and P. Darts Gold, this lovely deciduous shrub has an arching upright shape eventually 6-8. Leaves emerge green gold in the spring and by summer golden centers are surrounded by rich red burgundy. Flower clusters May>June with red buds opening pinkish white are showy. Exfoliating reddish brown bark adds to the non stop interest! Not fussy about soil, sun to part shade & occasional water.
