Podophyllum pleianthum

Clumping perennial with incredible large glossy leaves to a foot across on 2 stems (each plant has one stem, so each year more stems). May maroon flowers hanging below leaves, followed by red or yellow fruit. Part to full shade; moist, organic, acidic soil (resents going dry!). Elegant, artsy, lusted after!
