Cucurbita pepo

Embrace the spooky spirit of Halloween with the Goose Bumps pumpkin, a unique addition to your garden from the SUPER FREAK series! This variety produces heavily warted, globe-shaped fruit, perfect for creating fun and frightening decorations that are guaranteed to be the talk of the town. With each pumpkin weighing approximately 5 kg (11 lbs), its an excellent choice for smaller jack-o-lanterns or as an eye-catching table centerpiece.

Size: Fruit measures about 20 cm (8 in) in diameter and typically weighs 5 kg (11 lbs).

Yield: Expect a robust harvest, providing several decorative pumpkins in the fall.

Taste: While primarily an ornamental variety, the flesh is edible but best suited for decorative purposes.

How to use: Ideal for Halloween decorations, fun table displays, or creating whimsical jack-o-lanterns.

Planting tips: Sow seeds directly in the garden after the last frost in well-drained soil, allowing for ample space between plants to accommodate their growth. They thrive in full sun and appreciate rich, fertile soil.

Harvest tips: Harvest when the pumpkins are bright in colour and slightly hard to the touch; cut from the vine, leaving a small stem attached for a better shelf life.
