70 days. Royal Chantenay is a popular juicing carrot because of its dark orange color, sweet flavor, and shape that fits neatly into most juicers. The shoulders can reach 2 1/2 inches across, and it grows 5-6 inches long, tapering to a blunt point. Uniform, with strong dark green tops, this variety is easy to pull in most soils. Also a good choice for the root cellar.
