Salvia Roman Red

Salvia Roman Red produces intense red flowers that bring vibrant color to a hot, sun-soaked Landscape. Roman red has a more compact habit than other red sages. Roman Red works well planted en masse or as a centerpiece in a porch pot or container.

This Salvia is anessential plant for adding color to xeriscape gardens due to its low water requirement. It prefers good drainage and makes an excellent choice for banks and sloped planting beds that may be hard to water or maintain. Roman Red Salvia is a magnet for hummingbirds.
