Snowball Cauliflower (Brassica oleracea var. botrytis)

A self-balancing French variety with long leaves that offer excellent sun protection. This fast-growing variety develops 6 snowy white heads weighing 3-5 pounds. Mature heads can linger in the garden, so you wont have to rush your harvest. Crisp and tender with a nutty, sweet flavor.

• Germination: 4-10 days
• Maturity: 70-80 days
• Direct sow deep outdoors 6-8 weeks before last frost date or indoors in early winter for spring transplant. Repeat in midsummer for an autumn harvest. Plant or transplant in direct sun.
• Space plants 18-24 apart in rows 2 -3 apart.
• Requires cool temperatures and consistent moisture. Mulching helps.
