Early season. Arguably one of the best tasting blueberries weve tried. Bearing heavy bunches of very large, sapphire blue fruit, Spartan eagerly produces its harvests very early in the season from easy-to-harvest, 46 foot tall plants. Pamper this variety in lighter soil that is well-drained and rich in organic matter, and youll be rewarded with buckets of delicious berries. Zones 57.
Blueberries are 1 year old and start shipping in early March. Plants are shipped bareroot. Order early for best availability. Detailed planting information and growing instructions are included with each order and may be obtained below. Available only within the contiguous US.
