Tabasco Pepper (Capsicum frutescens)

Famous for its Louisiana hot sauce namesake, this popular heirloom bears scads of flavorful, fiery 2 peppers. Bushy plants are 2 in diameter and reach 3-6 tall. Peppers evolve from green, to orange, to deep red when ripe. Tabasco loves sun and heat.

• 25 seeds minimum
• Germination: 21-28 days
• Maturity: 90-96 days
• Start indoors 8-12 weeks before the last frost. Plant 1/4″ deep in seed starting mix. Requires soil temperatures of 65-90F to germinate. Heat mat is recommended. Keep soil moist.
• Transplant in full sun when all danger of frost has passed. Bottom leaves should be just above ground level.
• Space plants 12-18 apart; space rows 2-4′ apart.
