White Globe Radish (Raphanus sativus)

Also known as the Hailstone radish, this cool-weather heirloom is adaptable and easy to grow. Its round, pale roots are best harvested young and maintain their mild, crisp flavor for a long time.

• 200 seeds minimum
• Germination: 3-6 days
• Maturity: 20-25 days
• Direct sow 1/4 deep and 1 apart in full sun/partial shade as soon as soil can be worked. Thin seedlings to 2-3 inches apart.
• Plant again in late summer for a fall harvest.
